Course Description: This course provides scientific knowledge of psychopharmacology and its application to treatment of clients with psychiatric disorders across the lifespan. The course focuses on advanced concepts in neuroscience, neurobiology of mental disorders, pharmacokinetics and pharmacodynamics of psychotherapeutic medications in the management of targeted symptoms of psychiatric disorders in clients across the lifespan.
