Course Description: This course focuses on psychometric theory and its applications in health and behavioral sciences. Content includes scaling methods, in depth evaluation of the reliability and validity of an instrument, factor analysis (exploratory and confirmatory), and construction of survey questionnaires, traditional tests and attitudinal rating scales. This is a synchronous course.

 

Method of Instruction: UBlearns (Blackboard) synchronous - students will access course materials via UBLearns and attend lecture discussions via videoconferencing software.
