Course Description: THIS IS A MASTERS LEVEL COURSE. This course will explore literature and empirical data on the biological, psychological, and social aspects of cognitive and emotional health for older adults. In addition, this course will critically address literature on the definition and measurement of successful aging, cognition and normal aging, and prevention and intervention strategies that promote successful cognitive-emotional aging.
