Course Description: Explores assessment and debriefing practices in health care simulation education. Students will conduct a learning needs assessment; learn about different types of assessment, instruments, and methodologies used in simulation; and plan assessment strategies that integrate learning objectives, simulation modalities, and outcomes. Students will analyze different types of assessment instruments, and plan debriefing methods that support reflective, student-centered learning.
