Course Description: OVERVIEW OF CONTENT: The seminar course provides participants with the opportunity to discuss exemplars of current research in cancer, caregiving, and end-of-life care. Participants will discuss methodological, ethical, and practical issues involved in designing, implementing, and evaluating this type of research. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the semester, students should be able to – 1. Articulate current challenges and potential solutions to conducting research in cancer, caregiving and end-of-life care. 2. Analyze ethical implications of research relevant to investigations across the episode of care continuum and especially in vulnerable participants.
