Course Description: This course examines the origins and development of western philosophy and science. Students will explore nursing knowledge from diverse philosophical perspectives as well as the natural and human sciences. Different conceptions of broad topics such as knowledge, personhood, the body, and technology will be examined for the investigation of nursing phenomena.
