Course Description: THIS IS A MASTERS LEVEL COURSE. The Care Management: Legal Financial, and Business Issues course presents the opportunity for students to gain insight and understanding into the creation, development implementation and monitoring of a care management business through the development of a written business plan. Over the course the student will learn the necessary steps to building a care management program. at the same time the student will learn basic business skills of marketing, branding, and interviewing. The course is appropriate for individuals who have an interest in the care management field and who are focusing their careers working with populations and individuals over their life-time of care within illness and wellness issues.
