Course Description: THIS IS A MASTERS LEVEL COURSE. The purpose of this course is to provide a theoretical basis as well as multiple strategies for assessing and meeting the needs of diverse learners. Concepts of learner-centered teaching and the nurse educator role in advising and mentoring learners will be explored. The use of reflection on one’s own learning and teaching as a mechanism for practice improvement will be incorporated. Approaches to interprofessional education will be discussed.
