Course Description: ATTENTION: THIS IS A MASTERS LEVEL COURSE. OVERVIEW OF CONTENT: The purpose of this course is to develop skills in the design of curricula and courses to meet a variety of learning program outcomes, curricular/course leveling, and alignment of instruction with standards and accreditation needs. Designing and using course and program evaluation for continuous improvement will be highlighted. OBJECTIVES: By the end of the semester, students should be able to – 1. identify desired learning outcomes at the program and course level. 2. develop curricula that are aligned with desired learning outcomes. 3. design a curriculum evaluation model. 4. incorporate change theory to improve curricula based on evaluation data.
