Course Description: An examination of the social and political context of the postmodern era of filmmaking. This class explores postmodern filmmaking techniques, aesthetic choices and stylistic devices. Includes the work of Quentin Tarantino, the Coen Brothers, Ridley Scott, Spike Jonze and Charlie Kaufman. Offered: Occasionally. Three lecture hours.
