Course Description: In this introductory course, students will examine the role that social media plays in society, relationships, and enterprise. Learners will get hands-on experience with virtual communities and learn how to use a variety of social media tools to expand social awareness, create a digital presence, and develop a social media strategy. Upon completion, students will be able to create a blog, distribute digital content, lead a participative online community, and implement a social media campaign.
