Course Description: This course focuses on philosophical, epistemological and methodological aspects of qualitative research and demonstrates how these differ from quantitative research. In addition to exploring in detail the more commonly used qualitative methods, the course also familiarizes students with some key issues, exposes them to a range of views/opinions on these debates and facilitates the student in reaching his/her own informed opinion about these issues.
